I am thankful that Cale has learned to play chess this week and that Maya doesn't think I'm a total dork yet and that Aden can levitate above the ground.

Draper

Well it finally happened. Carrie slipped something in my drink last Saturday night and I awoke to find myself driving to the middle of nowhere at 8 am on Sunday morning - apparently to pick up this guy:



His name is Draper. Yes he was named after the Don Draper character from Mad Men - because like Mr. Draper he is a true gentleman. And also a womanizing chain-smoking depressed alcoholic. Like any gentleman proper introductions were made - especially with the ladies of the house:

Okay this one is actually late too. These were taken on Halloween. The snow is now melted and the days are warm. I am patiently waiting for more snow.

Snow! Destruction! Mayhem!

I realize I'm the only one but I wish it would snow 20 inches every week. Somethings in life have lost that childhood magic to me; the holidays, amusement parks, booze. Snow however still gets me as excited as it did when I was 8 years old. Really I've thought about it and at my funeral someone will certainly mention my love of winter weather. Go ahead, scatter my ashes in a blizzard.
