Cub Scout Camp

Cale and I spent a few days last week at cub scout camp. We had a lot of fun doing archery, shooting BB guns, building a trail, and skinning cute woodland creatures (only joking - don't think we do that until next year). The camp is actually super nice and Cale can't wait to go back again.

Well it would seem I am unfit to maintain a blog. Here is a picture two months out of date. The kids are bigger. The puppy is bigger.

I am planning to dive into my final master's project and work on it through the summer. I make no promises but at the moment I am feeling a bit bloggy so perhaps there will be some more posts in the near future.

Draper

Well it finally happened. Carrie slipped something in my drink last Saturday night and I awoke to find myself driving to the middle of nowhere at 8 am on Sunday morning - apparently to pick up this guy:



His name is Draper. Yes he was named after the Don Draper character from Mad Men - because like Mr. Draper he is a true gentleman. And also a womanizing chain-smoking depressed alcoholic. Like any gentleman proper introductions were made - especially with the ladies of the house:
